What's Your Favorite Glove?

It's a question often asked: What's your favorite glove?  or What glove do you recommend?

And it's an age old answer: "Well, that depends."

There are as many gloves as there are hands.  Every task requires a different glove, and there are many questions that need to be asked before a recommendation can be made.
Do you require cut protection?  Protection from heat?  Protection from cold?  Protection from impact?  High Visibility? Chemical or liquid protection?

All of these questions must be asked before we can provide a recommendation.  Engman-Taylor provides on-site glove surveys and can assist with recommendations for specific applications.  Contact us today to learn more about site surveys and hand protection.

I do however have a personal favorite.  The glove I reach for most often is the BOSS Tech Plus foam nitrile glove.  The Boss Tech Plus glove is ideal for construction, automotive, assembly, sorting, and other tasks that require some protection and grip while providing maximum dexterity. Changing spark plugs, doing a break job, building a deck - this glove is suited for just about any general task.

Boss Tech Plus gloves feature a sandy foam nitrile coating designed to capture moisture and provide an exceptional grip in wet environments. This specialized coating initially repels liquids; including light oil, grease and water; users can simply shake off liquids to help keep the glove, palm, and fingers dry and comfortable. Foam nitrile is abrasion and slip resistant, while maintaining excellent dexterity and flexibility. The stretchable shell is form fitting with an open back for comfort and breath-ability.

Not that we don't want to sell you more gloves; but you can even wash these and reuse them over and over again.  I like the Simple Green Crystal cleaner for removing automotive grease, grime, and dirt.  Soak them in a bucket for a few days and they clean up really well.
